Zipperclave® Stirred Reactors

Open this (500 to 4,000 ml) high pressure, laboratory reactor by hand.

The Parker Autoclave Engineers’ ZipperClave® Reactor has been designed to provide the researcher with a reliable quick-opening closure. The main seal of the reactor is an O-ring available in many different materials. The 500 ml and 1,000 ml units are identical in design as well as the 2,000 ml and 4,000 ml units except for the depth of the reactor. Conversion kits are available between the four sizes.

Many combinations of standard components are available. The cover of the unit remains fixed in the stand to permit opening of the vessel without disassembling any process connections. The body is easily removed and drops away from the cover.

BENEFITS

Ease of cleaning & elimination of foot bearings reduces the risk of cross-contamination. It offers easy access for high pressure & high temperature, chemical synthesis of corrosive, hazardous & very reactive chemicals / petrochemicals as well as catalyst research. It is delivered custom configured & after full functional testing for fast & easy start-up. See EZE-Seal® Reactors for pressures up to 3,300 psi (227 bar). See Bolted Closure Reactors for pressures up to 5,000 psi (379 bar). pressures up to 5,000 psi (379 bar).
