A standard 1 Liter
capacity, laboratory, jacketed glass reactor apparatus used for direct
observation of pressurized reactions. Observe mixing & interactions in
a bench-scale, leak-free chemical reactor. Lab equipment used for applications
where visual inspection is the preferred means to gain an understanding
of a high pressure chemical process. This reaction cell can be used as
a phase behavior cell. The glass heat transfer jacket allows precise temperature
control in the transparent reactor.
Components used in all aspects of high pressure flow systems.
Glass Reactor : Stirred Reactors
Observe
mixing & chemical reactions at pressures up to 150
psig (10
bar)
FEATURES
The 150 psi @ 300°F (10 bar @ 150°C) pressure rating is suitable for many sealed,
batch reactor applications
One liter pressurized
glass reactor design has diverse uses as adiabatic reactors, isothermal
reactors & multiphase reactors
The O-ring PTFE (Teflon®) seal creates a leak-free & chemical
resistant seal that is easily replaced if damaged
Access to the interior
is easy since the vessel can be lowered with all the process fittings
& tubing attached to the cover
A large diameter
fitting (with valve) in the cover is used for adding powders
& solids including catalysts & initiators
Sparging, charging,
blowpipe, sampling & cooling coil process connections are ideal for
most chemical reactor processes
The stirred reactor
uses a 3,300 rpm MagneDrive® magnetic mixer that
eliminates dynamic seals for trouble free mixing
Many impellers
are offered including Dispersimax, which draws headspace gas & vapors
into the liquid
Optional process
control instrumentation measures & controls temperature, mixing speed
& pressure
Obtain expert,
process equipment advice from the manufacturer & ongoing support from
the local, factory approved supplier
BENEFITS
Transparency & clarity allow
direct visual inspection. Ease of cleaning & elimination of foot bearings
reduces the risk of cross-contamination. It offers easy access for high
pressure, chemical synthesis of corrosive, hazardous & reactive chemicals
/ petrochemicals as well as catalyst research. Complete an Applications
