The design creates
high circulation pressure & high mass transfer with low-density gas. A
8" (200 mm) vane blower @ 2,500 rpm moves the gas past a stationary
catalyst bed. Optional plating deactivates the reactor's surfaces. The
laboratory, multiphase reactor design is used for time based, high temperature
& high pressure heterogeneous catalysis experiments with gas / solid phase
reactants. Use internal recycle reactors & study catalysts for their activity,
durability & regeneration processes

parts are offered indefinitely to achieve the unlimited service life
of the seamless design
BENEFITS
The Caldwell corrosion resistant
gradientless reactor is designed to circulate a low density or low partial
pressure gas / vapor phase past a solid phase heterogeneous catalyst.
The Caldwell reactor is a laboratory apparatus that can be used for diverse
supported & selective catalyst research including catalyst screening,
catalyst characterization, & surface chemistry studies. The leak-free
metal gasket design provides bench-scale catalytic synthesis capability
for scientific experimentation.
